- John Skelton stepped up with 297 yards passing to lead the Cardinals by the Rams 33-27.

- Drew Brees scorched the Chargers' defense with 438 yards passing, leading the Saints to a 42-24 win.

- It was a big day for DeAngelo Williams whose 3 TD runs helped the Panthers beat the Seahawks 45-28.

- Eli Manning threw away the game against the Browns with his 3 interceptions.

- Arian Foster rushed for 2 touchdowns during the Texans' 28-13 win over the Jets.

- Any critics of X Soam have been silenced for at least a week now that he's got a win under his belt.

- The Giants fell just short of a victory at home against the Browns 20-17.

- It took a bonus quarter for the Steelers to get the 9-3 victory in Pittsburgh.

- Nobody will soon forget this game between the Rams and Cardinals. In overtime, the Cardinals got the win.

- The Vikings made a decision early on that they wanted to keep Jasper Brinkley in Minnesota with a 4-year deal worth $3.8M.

- The Browns appear to be at an impasse attempting to re-sign WR Josh Cribbs as a recent contract offer was rejected by the player.
