COACH DAVIS ON HIS 1ST CAREER WIN:

"I knew all along if our guys keep giving 100% we would start to get some wins. Did it take a little longer than expected? Yes. But we have lost a couple games in final seconds of the came and we just knew it was coming. It was great to finally get the 1st win out of the way. Now we need to begin closing the gap between us and the rest of the division. Our margin for error is very small but I believe in our guys and we will do everything we can to win the division."

ON RGIII BIG DAY:

"RGIII had a great game! He was as efficient as you can get, when you throw 287 yards and 3 Touchdowns on 14 completions to 6 different receivers on 15 attempts you cant ask for more. And on top of that he had a couple huge runs 6 carries for 78 yards. Just a perfect game in every way."

ON THE BLOCKBUSTER TRADE TO ACQUIRE BEANIE WELLS:



"You really hate to lose a player like London Fletcher. We respect and appreciate everything he has done for the Redskins. We noticed Wells was available and our run game was lacking through the 1st 5 games, and we made the move. He has already shown what he can do for us in the game today with 70yrds on 18 att and a TD. Including 2 catches for 76 yards. Another thing I want to add is we also received a 2nd round pick in the deal, and that is big for the future of our team."
