Gamplay Issues

Mon Jul 15, 2013 6:07 pm by hogtradition22

I have noticed that a lot of pitchers are not coming set when they are in the stretch position. We do have balks turned on but they do not work correctly. At this time I am not sure if pitchers not coming set is a connection issue or a human issue.

That being said please come set and wait at …

The game stayed close through the first half, going into halftime 10-10. Defense came out in the fourth quarter and held the game at 20-17 with 4 minutes to go. The Broncos defense had a huge stop with 2:08 left on the clock and no timeouts. Little did they know a rookie mistake would cause the game to change drastically. Returner/wide receiver M. Mariani took position to return the high punt. All alone set to receive a chance at victory, the pressure proved too much and the punt was muffed. Chargers gained possession on their 30 yard line and took it in for the score, with under a minute to go.

Week 6 brings the Minnisota Vikings into Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears and this one should be a good one. Last year in their home and away series these division rivals showed why the NFC North division is called the black and blue division. They played each other to a stand still with both games going to overtime. The Vikings won both with field goals, sending the Bears faithful home dejected. Bears coach Lovie Smith said in an interview earlier this week "The Vikings were a tough team for us last season and look to be an even tougher opponent this time around. Their offense really...

The rams end the regular 2nd in the division behind a great seahawks team. It was a well fought season and now it time to focus on the GOAL. It looks like the NFC west may have 3 teams in the playoffs which would be great. Us rams enjoyed our 1st season hopefully we dont get knocked out the 1st round but we will fight to the end.

Jamaal Charles has now done what many thought could never happen in the new NFL. In a league that has become so focused on the vertical passing game, Charles has shown that a strong running game can still lead a team to victories. This week against the Indianapolis Colts, Charles carried the ball 14 times for 166 yards, bringing his season total to 2122 rushing yards, and breaking Eric Dickerson's 1984 single-season record of 2105 yards.

For thirty years there have been strong contenders to break...

In just his third NFL start, the Chiefs newest acquisition has shown up a future Hall of Fame quarterback. This week, Ryan Mallett and the Kansas City Chiefs faced off against Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. While the Broncos focused on stopping the record-breaking pace of MVP candidate Jamal Charles, the whole field opened up for the passing game.

The second year player carved up the Denver secondary, completing 14 of 16 passes (87%) for 250 yards and 4 touchdowns, leading the Chiefs to a 34-28...

PHENIOX, AZ – The Falcons had just blown another one, and Roddy White couldn’t contain himself.

The 8-year veteran unloaded, wondering where this team is headed after watching Atlanta collapse in the fourth quarter and lose, 23-21, to the Arizona Cardinals on Tuesday.

“It’s getting old,” White said. “There is a tradition growing here and I’m not sure which way this tradition is going.”

The 4-3 rams took on the 4-3 pats in wk 8. the rams didn't know how the was gonna attack the #1 ranked offense this week, all they knew was they had to make the team 1 denominational to even have a chance and they had to keep the ball out of Terrific Toms hands. We controlled to clock got our run game going and did our best to limit that high powered passing attack, and it got us a huge W. A few take-a-ways on defense help and a few hits on Brady and not giving much yac, Sam took care or the ball and made more good decisions then bad which helped. All 4 RBS got their share off carries which took...

2012 Week 7: Ryan Mallett Traded to Chiefs, May Start Against Raiders

Just three years after trading their second round pick to New England for their backup quarterback, the Chiefs have done it again. In a shocking mid-season move, Kansas City has traded their 2013 2nd round pick and rookie quarterback Ryan Lindley to the Patriots for quarterback Ryan Mallett.

This trade comes after a string of three horrible games by Matt Cassell, in which he has completed only 19 out...

It was a back and forth game all night with both teams unable to get much going on the ground. With a fairly uneventful first half the game was tied going into the 3rd quarter at 7 all. The Bears took the ensuing kickoff of the 2nd half and drove the lenght of the field for a touchdown with Cutler hitting multiple recievers for medium gains. When asked after the game why he didn't test the Jags on more deep throws tonight Cutler said that coach Gridiron felt he needed to gain his confidence back after a tough couple of games and felt that completions were the way to do that. With less than 2 minutes...

ATLANTA — Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons have plenty of mistakes to work on during their bye week. Of course, it sure would be easier to fix the problems if they were still unbeaten as the Raiders are.

Big plays and pass defense did the Falcons in this week. Multiple times the defensive play calls were extremely questionable. At times it looked like Coach Locker was on another planet. This was never more apparent than when the score tied with...

    WARNING: this is LONG

2012 Week 5: Jamaal Charles Sprinting Into the Record Books

The secret is out. We now know how Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles became such a fast runner. It was because of his grandfather's fowl obsession.
During part of his time growing up in Port Arthur, Texas, Charles was raised by his grandparents Owen and Mazell Miller. After Mazell died, Owen became something of a recluse, and he couldn't bring himself to leave the house.

The Ravens advanced to a 3-2 overall record and are tied for first in the AFC North after holding off the Chiefs, 20-10 in a tough game.
Joe Flacco tossed for 224 Yds and 2 TD's and Rice ran for 88 Yds but the key to the game was perhaps the Baltimore pass defense which contained the Chiefs passing attacks.
After the game Joe Flacco said "The defense really stepped up for us against a tough opponent, and now we have to start preparing for the next game"
The Ravens look to continue their push against the first place Cowboys next week.

In a game that will without a doubt be on the Chargers' minds for years to come, further fueling the rivalry between these AFC West teams, Jamaal Charles ran wild for 308 yards and 4 TDS on just 23 carries. This broke the single game rushing record previously held by Adrian Peterson. Carrying the offense on his back in yet another game, Charles also posted the team's only receiving TD.

Together with a ball-hawking defense, he has led his team to a 4-0 record. Charles now leads the league in rushing with 928 yards and 9 touchdowns, along with 4 catches for 40 yards and 3 touchdowns....

The Washington Redskins welcomed the Atlanta Falcons to DC in one of the more exciting matchups in Week 5. Both teams showcased impressive talent and needed to limit mistakes in order to come away with a win. At 1-3, the Falcons looked to win one on the road. Matt Ryan certainly had his hands full as the Redskins looked to get back into winning form after last week’s loss to Tampa Bay.

The game certainly went as advertised. The Falcons jumped out to an early...

In one of the most exciting games of the season, the Carolina Panthers beat the Atlanta Falcons 51-38 to improve to 2-2 on the year, while the Falcons fall to 1-3. The Panthers won on the arm of Cam Newton and the legs of DeAngelo Williams. The Falcons have now lost two straight and are now 0-1 in conference.

Late in the 4th quarter the Falcons had a chance to get the ball back and drive for the game winning score. When their third onside kick attempt in a row was recovered by the Panthers the game was pretty much sealed. With no timeouts remaining and down 44-38 the Panthers could...
