The game stayed close through the first half, going into halftime 10-10. Defense came out in the fourth quarter and held the game at 20-17 with 4 minutes to go. The Broncos defense had a huge stop with 2:08 left on the clock and no timeouts. Little did they know a rookie mistake would cause the game to change drastically. Returner/wide receiver M. Mariani took position to return the high punt. All alone set to receive a chance at victory, the pressure proved too much and the punt was muffed. Chargers gained possession on their 30 yard line and took it in for the score, with under a minute to go.

Week 6 brings the Minnisota Vikings into Soldier Field to take on the Chicago Bears and this one should be a good one. Last year in their home and away series these division rivals showed why the NFC North division is called the black and blue division. The rams end the regular 2nd in the division behind a great seahawks team. It was a well fought season and now it time to focus on the GOAL. It looks like the NFC west may have 3 teams in the playoffs which would be great. Us rams enjoyed our 1st season hopefully we dont get knocked out the 1st round but we will fight to the end.

In another startling move, the Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to a trade with the Washington Redskins that will bring tight end Fred Davis to the Heart of America.

Today, it was announced that the Redskins have agreed to trade Davis and free safety Madieu Williams to the Chiefs in return for tight end Tony Moeaki, cornerback Javier Arenas, and free safety Kendrick Lewis.

It was a back and forth game all night with both teams unable to get much going on the ground. With a fairly uneventful first half the game was tied going into the 3rd quarter at 7 all. The Bears took the ensuing kickoff of the 2nd half and drove the lenght of the field for a touchdown with Cutler hitting multiple recievers for medium gains. When asked after the game why he didn't test the Jags on more deep throws tonight Cutler said that coach Gridiron felt he needed to gain his confidence back after a tough couple of games and felt that completions were the way to do that. 2012 Week 5: Jamaal Charles Sprinting Into the Record Books

The secret is out. We now know how Kansas City Chiefs running back Jamaal Charles became such a fast runner. It was because of his grandfather's fowl obsession.
During part of his time growing up in Port Arthur, Texas, Charles was raised by his grandparents Owen and Mazell Miller. After Mazell died, Owen became something of a recluse, and he couldn't bring himself to leave the house.

The Ravens advanced to a 3-2 overall record and are tied for first in the AFC North after holding off the Chiefs, 20-10 in a tough game.
Joe Flacco tossed for 224 Yds and 2 TD's and Rice ran for 88 Yds but the key to the game was perhaps the Baltimore pass defense which contained the Chiefs passing attacks.
After the game Joe Flacco said "The defense really stepped up for us against a tough opponent, and now we have to start preparing for the next game"
The Ravens look to continue their push against the first place Cowboys next week.

In a game that will without a doubt be on the Chargers' minds for years to come, further fueling the rivalry between these AFC West teams, Jamaal Charles ran wild for 308 yards and 4 TDS on just 23 carries. This broke the single game rushing record previously held by Adrian Peterson. Carrying the offense on his back in yet another game, Charles also posted the team's only receiving TD.

In one of the most exciting games of the season, the Carolina Panthers beat the Atlanta Falcons 51-38 to improve to 2-2 on the year, while the Falcons fall to 1-3. The Panthers won on the arm of Cam Newton and the legs of DeAngelo Williams. The Falcons have now lost two straight and are now 0-1 in conference.
